PASTOR’S NOTE

Hey Church Family,

I love watching the way you care for one another and our community. One of my greatest joys as your pastor is hearing the stories of how God is working through the people of CHBC. If you ever want to hear an incredible story of God's faithfulness, just ask one of our pastors or ministry leaders. God is doing amazing things in and through our church family!

This Family Worship Sunday will be a special day as Brian Meister brings God's Word and concludes our Core 4 series on the rhythms of a healthy disciple—Word, Prayer, Care, and Share. I know you'll be encouraged and challenged by what the Lord has laid on his heart.

We will also have the privilege of worshiping through a special offering for our sister churches in the flood-devastated areas of Nepal. As followers of Christ, we have the opportunity to stand with fellow believers in their time of need. I encourage you to come prayerfully prepared to give as the Lord leads.

If you'd like to learn more about the relief efforts, or if you prefer to give online, you can do so through Send Relief: https://www.sendrelief.org/project/nepal-flood/.

If you would like to give in person on Sunday, please make checks payable to Cherokee Hills Baptist Church and write "Nepal Relief" in the memo. If giving cash, simply use one of our giving envelopes and designate it "Nepal Relief.” Any undesignated cash received during the special offering will be directed toward Nepal relief. If you are giving your regular tithes and offerings to support the ongoing ministry of CHBC, you may do so at the during our special offering time as well.

Thank you for being a church that loves well, serves faithfully, and gives generously. It is a joy to serve as your pastor. I can't wait to worship with you this Sunday!

Pastor Chris
